“Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics” is an interesting book for digital marketing agents. It covers Web Metrics with Google Analytics as suggested as the book title does. However, the knowledge goes much deeper and explains what you need to understand and beware of as a digital marketer. On top of that, it also gives you insight on how to run a proper digital marketing team.
The book is written in textbook style. It points lots of knowledge you need to know as part of a digital marketing team. The book is designed for team players who are:

It is a pretty well written book and it goes through theories which are both fundamental and advanced. However, Google keeps updating Google Analytics and the User Interface is quite different now. But, the book is still good for understanding the basic and some advance knowledge on how to use Google Analytics.

He formerly led the Google Web Analytics team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and he initiated and helped launch the online learning center for the Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ). I bought this book, “Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics”, because I am current running a digital marketing business which is a very exciting venture and meaningful for us. On top of that, I believe Google will keep dominating the website industry. So, it is a good idea to know more on how to track traffic of websites and improve the performance of them. Hence, it is on my bookshelf.
This book is a very interesting book and it gives many information and advices on how to use Google Analytics to do analysis. If you are interested to be an expert of digital marketing. This book is a must-read item.
